Aku tekun mentafsir kamus kata
Aku ralit mencerna warna bahasa
Aku tabah mendekap bunyi aksara
Aku tulis sajak demi sajak. Diam
Di Pondok Sajak
Di Tranum, kaki Bukit Fraser
Aku menyemai benih di tanah organik kata
Sajak mulai tumbuh daripada nafsu manusia
Berhias dengan intan berlian makna

In the house of poems
That I’ve built with cultural
bricks
Paved and cemented by the sand
of words
I fabricate bits and pieces of
poems
Rendering the astuteness of the
mind
Radiating delightful aesthetics
In the house of poems
I diligently dissect the book
of words
Attentively digesting each
shades of the language
Indomitably embracing the sound
of each distinctive characters
I wrote the poems, one by one.
In silence
In the house of poems
In Tranum, at the foot of the
Fraser’s Hill
I sow the seeds of thoughts on
the organic land for words
Now the poems are sprouting
from the desires of mankind
Sparkling with ornamental gems
of thoughtful expressions
